About Us
Ringgold Fire Company No. 1 is a volunteer fire department proudly serving the Village of Pulaski and surrounding areas within the Town of Richland in Oswego County, New York. Founded in 1873, the department has a long-standing tradition of protecting life, property, and the community through fire suppression, emergency response services, public safety education, and community involvement. The company operates from its station at 12 Lake Street and is staffed by dedicated volunteer firefighters who respond to emergencies throughout the district.In addition to emergency response, the organization plays an important role in supporting community events, firefighter training, and public outreach programs. As a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization, Ringgold Fire Company relies on volunteers, fundraising efforts, and community support to maintain equipment, training, and operational readiness. The department continues to uphold its mission of service, professionalism, and commitment to the safety of Pulaski-area residents.
Mission Statement
The mission of the Ringgold Fire Company of Pulaski, New York is to minimize the risk of fire and other hazards to the life and the property of any individual in the Ringgold Fire District. To accomplish this mission, the company provides responses to and mitigation of medical emergencies, fire hazards, motor vehicle accidents, cold water rescues, high angle and confined space rescues along with any other emergency situation that might occur. These services are provided immediately to any individual who has a need within the Ringgold Fire District or outside the district under mutual aid or if the company is dispatched. The Company also provides public fire safety education to its customers within the Ringgold
Fire District.
